Islam and women
Note 1: I encourage everyone (Moslem like not-Moslems) to enter the debate. Make researches about this. Ask questions to Moslems, imams,
unbelievers, about what I say.

Hadith Sahih Muslim, book 001, hadiths 142 & 143It is narrated on the authority of 'Abdullah b. Umar that the Messenger of
Allah observed: "O womenfolk, you should give charity and ask much forgiveness
for I saw you in bulk amongst the dwellers of Hell. A wise lady among them said:
Why is it, Messenger of Allah, that our folk is in bulk in Hell? Upon this the
Holy Prophet observed: You curse too much and are ungrateful to your spouses. I
have seen none lacking in common sense and failing in religion but (at the same
time) robbing the wisdom of the wise, besides you. Upon this the woman remarked:
What is wrong with our common sense and with religion? He (the Holy Prophet)
observed: Your lack of common sense (can be well judged from the fact) that the
evidence of two women is equal to one man, that is a proof of the lack of common
sense, and you spend some nights (and days) in which you do not offer prayer and
in the month of Ramadan (during the days) you do not observe fast, that is a
failing in religion".This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Abu
Tahir with this chain of transmitters.
Sura II,282 :
« [...] And call to witness , from among your men , two witnesses . And if two men be
not ( at hand ) then a man and two women , of such as ye approve as witnesses ,
so that if the one erreth ( through forgetfulness ) the other will remember [...] »
Hadith Sahih Muslim, book 4, hadith 1032:
Abu Dharr reported: The Messenger of 'Allah (may peace be upon him) said: When
any one of you stands for prayer and there is a thing before him equal to the
back of the saddle that covers him and in case there is not before him (a thing)
equal to the back of the saddle, his prayer would be cut off by (passing of an)
ass, woman, and black Dog. I said: O Abu Dharr, what feature is there in a black
dog which distinguish it from the red dog and the yellow dog? He said: O, son of
my brother, I asked the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) as you are
asking me, and he said: The black dog is a devil.
Hadith Sahih Muslim, book 004, hadith 2127
When it was my turn for Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) to spend the
night with me, he turned his side, put on his mantle and took off his shoes and
placed them near his feet, and spread the corner of his shawl on his bed and
then lay down till he thought that I had gone to sleep. He took hold of his
mantle slowly and put on the shoes slowly, and opened the door and went out and
then closed it lightly. I covered my head, put on my veil and tightened my waist
wrapper, and then went out following his steps till he reached Baqi'. He stood
there and he stood for a long time. He then lifted his hands three times, and
then returned and I also returned. He hastened his steps and I also hastened my
steps. He ran and I too ran. He came (to the house) and I also came (to the
house). I, however, preceded him and I entered (the house), and as I lay down in
the bed, he (the Holy Prophet) entered the (house), and said: Why is it, O 'A'isha,
that you are out of breath? I said: There is nothing. He said: Tell me or the
Subtle and the Aware would inform me. I said: Messenger of Allah, may my father
and mother be ransom for you, and then I told him (the whole story). He said:
Was it the darkness (of your shadow) that I saw in front of me? I said: Yes. He
struck me on the chest which caused me pain, and then said: Did you think that
Allah and His Apostle would deal unjustly with you? [...]
Sura IV, 34 :
« Men are in charge of women , because Allah hath men the one of them to excel
the other , and because they spend of their property ( for the support of women
) . So good women are the obedient , guarding in secret that which Allah hath
guarded . As for those from whom ye fear rebellion , admonish them and banish
them to beds apart , and scourge them . Then if they obey you , seek not a way
against them . Lo! Allah is ever High Exalted , Great . »

marrying them ) , give unto them their portions as a duty . And there is no sin
for you in what ye do by mutual agreement after the duty ( hath been done ) . Lo!
Allah is ever Knower , Wise .
